United Way “Champions”

I am humbled and honored to serve as Vice President on the Board of Directors for the United Way of Pekin. As Vice President, I am grateful for the opportunity to serve as Campaign Chair for the 2023-2024 United Way Campaign. The theme for this year’s campaign is “United Way Champions”.

When I think of a champion, I think of those who look for ways to better themselves and those around them. They help others by brightening their path when they need it most. Being involved with the United Way of Pekin has opened my eyes even more to the needs right here in Pekin, and the surrounding areas. There are tough times for everyone right now; however, we can all work together for the common cause to help the many citizens in need in our community.

When you donate to the United Way of Pekin, your support has a big impact for people in and around Pekin. Donations support local agencies who work hard to provide people in our community with food, housing, health services, and other resources to care for themselves and their loved ones. They cannot operate without the support that comes from our donations.

I sincerely hope you will join me in supporting the United Way of Pekin. Whatever amount you choose to donate is a tremendous help, and United Way of Pekin appreciates all denotations!
